Mini Paradise Acres is a 5 1/2 acre hobby farm located in Southern Sheboygan County in the small town of Random Lake. My niece, Danielle, and I have been breeding and showing since 2001 starting out with Pygmies and after a few years added Nigerians to the herd. We love the variety of colors that come with the Nigerian breed and their easy going personalities as much as the comical and very lovable Pygmies. Our kids are raised on CAE/Johnes tested free dams. We keep our breedings to a minimum so that we can devote the time needed to assure our kids are people friendly.
To date we are proud to have earned the titles of Master Champions on five of our Nigerians and one of our Pygmies. Once a year we enter a One Day Milk Test at our State Fair. We are proud to announce that Sandia Sunrise Libby earned her ADGA/AGS milking star and will be in the 2007 AGS Top Ten for her score of 51.32 and Top Ten for her butterfat. Our Mini Paradise Acres Heidi earned her AGS star with a score of 41.63 and will be in the 2007 AGS Top Ten for her butterfat and protein, way to go girls !!!! Between the two breeds, show season for us runs from February thru November. Shows are a great place to meet new people and make long lasting friendships.
The newest addition to the family is a female English Mastiff puppy we named Deezel. We plan to breed her in the fall of 2009, watch for updated photos as she matures.
